In March 2023, with all its apartments pre-sold or reserved, Opus Newton broke ground on a first-of-its-kind, middle-market solution to the challenge of making community living affordable for older adults in the “forgotten middle.” By understanding the consumer, scrutinizing traditional expense items and unbundling services, maintaining efficient use of labor and utilizing volunteers and partnerships, and keeping development costs and related debt low, Opus Newton is setting a new course for the future of senior living.
