We’re changing senior living for the better.
Welcome to Opus Newton by 2Life, an innovative and purposeful approach to senior living that will soon put a fulfilling community lifestyle within reach for adults aged 62 or better in Newton, Massachusetts. Too often, older adults don’t have the option to stay in the Boston area and live in a community because most traditional senior living communities are priced out of reach. But at Opus Newton, our up-front Opus Share and monthly fees open the door to seniors who make too much to qualify for subsidized living options but find other senior living options either cost too much or offer too little. Opus is in the middle — and perfectly designed to work for you.

How is Opus different?
Opus Newton is designed to keep you in control of your life and provide access to the services and amenities you want without making you pay the overhead associated with building them ourselves. Our price points are more affordable than traditional senior living communities because we are located on the campus of the JCC Greater Boston, where there is already access to exceptional amenities. In addition, rather than building healthcare facilities you’d have to move to in order to receive care, we’ll bring the care to you, making it possible for you to remain in your home and only pay for the care you need. And finally, perhaps one of the most exciting features of the Opus lifestyle is our volunteer program, called Opus Time. All Opus residents will commit to volunteering 10 hours per month to make our community an exceptional place to call home.

Opus is brought to you by 2Life Communities.
For more than 60 years, 2Life Communities has provided new and innovative ways for people to get more out of life regardless of income. With a mission of helping seniors age affordably while living meaningful lives filled with joy and purpose, this new living option — Opus — will continue the evolution of our commitment to supporting the community while honoring our Jewish values:
• Honoring they mother and father (kavod)
• Sharing across generations respect, kindness and community (l’dor vador)
• Honoring the wisdom of our elders (zakein)
• Welcoming the “stranger” as we were once strangers ourselves (achrayut)
• Engaging in repairing the world (tikkun olam)
